About Us

New Patients are Welcome!

We are a friendly medical practice situated in North West Edinburgh. We aim to provide quality healthcare to individuals and the community, within an environment of mutual trust, respect and learning. We are committed to involving each patient in managing his or her own health, raising awareness of health needs and providing education for our patients at Parkgrove.

Access

Parkgrove Medical Centre has easy access for wheelchairs and there are no steps. There is designated parking at the front of the main entrance for the use of disabled patients. Those with ‘disabled permits’ can park there. All surgeries are on the ground floor and there is a disabled toilet.  Our main car park is for staff use only. Nearby street parking is available but can be severely restricted by other users in the area, so please arrive in good time to find a parking place.

Other Access Issues

Bicycles may be left at the right side of the building adjacent to the front entrance, at your own risk.  A metal wall rail is available for securing bicycles, however, patients should provide their own chains/locks.

Dogs
All dogs with the exception of guide dogs should be left outside the building.

Smoking & Food
The building is a non-smoking building and we request that this be honoured. We would also request that patients do not eat or drink whilst waiting for their appointments.  A cup of water may be obtained from reception on request.

We hope you enjoy having a look around our website and familiarising yourself with some of the online features such an ordering a repeat prescription. Whatever your thoughts, be sure to let us know. Comments and suggestions are always a great way of helping us continue to enhance the way we look after you.
